Hi dhess

Welcome to the forum!

We have been slow to get our act together - might be something to do with the beautiful weather :D

Anyway, there was a meet at the Brekky Creek Hotel on 6 March (I was unable to attend) and if you read the Brisbane group topic listing on the index page, you'll see that attempts are underway to organise another meet. You can also read reports from members who did attend the first meet.

This is a great forum and there is a huge variety of people from all walks of life and with all manner of experience here. Enjoy yourself.

Cheers

Graham

Geez I'm slack...

Sorry for being so late in welcoming you aboard Dom. I've been very remiss lately in checking the Brisbane/Gold Coast section here for new posts - just trying to keep up with everything else on this forum!

Anyway - a warm welcome to a fellow Brisbanite! It wold be great if you could come along to our next get-together which will be the Lamington trip on April 17. Keep an eye on this section for further details.

We were also trying to put together an SB-800 self-help workshoppy sort of thing but that's yet to eventuate - I think 'cos no-one's prepared to put their hand up and admit they kow enough about it. Can't say I blame them. I'm really hopeful we can get that arrnaged sometime. Maybe it's something that could be done in the cooler months once nightfall approaches a little earlier.

Enough rabbitting on from me. Enjoy the forum and never be afraid to ask questions.

Cheers,
