Adelaide Classic Rally

Hi,
Iv'e posted the url for the Classic Car rally which is on next week 19 Nov http://www.classicadelaide.com.au/ca08/index.asp

While they will be at Eagle on the Hill Wednesday and down south over the weekend I need to be at work sometimes so won't be getting there ...however I do know that every morning they exit the Central Market Carpark (Eastern side) and que in front of the Hilton, Vic Square at aprox 8:30 with the first car leaving from in front of the Hilton at 9am ...then every 30 seconds ..

I'll be there with Canon in hand so may see some of you .... realise they are nice and clean at that time so not for the rally enthuastics but better than nothing

I have level 1 media creds for this one, again its all been done so bloody tight again its nigh on impossible!

Main parade 12pm King William St, Prologue 1230 Pm Eagle on the hill.. Except no way to get there as the roads are shut.... Good planning guys..

So prologue is at eagle on the hill instead of vic park race course this year? Starting at top or bottom? I hadnt thought about how i was going to get up there and where i would shoot from.....

And the road is apparently being closed off way early, I think spectating is going to be difficult! I am just trying to find out more info as I need to shoot certain cars at the parade in town, then get into prologue somehow!

Looks like Prologue is going to be a nightmare to shoot, road is basically going to block people in for many hours if they head up there...

They are tightening it right up this year, seemingly dont want spectators present..

Kinda makes me feel better that I have a 2 day Perth trip to fit in this week as well it looks like !

I might not even bother heading up then, as we discussed, what a way to ruin a great event!
