Tokina 11-16mm... anyone in Adel own one? *Message edited

Does anyone know anyone in Adelaide who stock Tokina lenses?? I'm pretty keen to get the 11-16 but I want to see it first and no one seems to keep them in stock. As an add on to this message... does anyone in Adel own one of these lenses (that I could have a look at)?

That has been a hard lens to get a hold off, and with the BIG price hike it may be better for you to look at grey stock. Mozzie ordered hers from Camera Action back in October I think and it has still not shown up, delivery being pushed back twice, and even now it is running late.

Hmmm that doesnt sound too promising!!! From what people on this forum have said, the consensus seems to be the Tokina is better than the Sigma 10-20, but I was hoping to look at a Tokina lens before buying it.

On Hutt St? Yes, and they dont keep them in stock... they are happy to order it in, but I dont want to buy a lens Ive never seen.

Hi,
I have the Sigma 10-20 (Canon) if you want to have a play . I bought it for the Nth Tce lights because I couldn't find the Tokina at that time ..must admit I have been happy with it as fun lense
