Hi, while the membership magaazine mentioned a couple of events coming up I called and am able to confirm the following ..

Sunday 18 October – 5.30pm to 8.00pm
while there is an Orangutan fundraiser on ..members can enter the zoo on the night for $10 and roam free until 8pm. The whole zoo will be open and animals (I checked specifically about the cats) will not be sent to night quarters until 7:30 .
Lots of fun activities to keep the kids busy, Karl & I will be there so may be a good meet opportunity. The zoo will close at 5 and reopen at 5:30( so not sure if they would bother to flush us out ??)

Saturday 31 October – 4pm to 8pm Halloween Boo at the Zoo
I have been advised that the whole zoo will be open for extended hours (no additional charge for members)

Hi everyone

Tom and I arer home now after wandering around Europe for 2 months
I just called the zoo and the lady I spoke to didnt know anything about the zoo being open tonight... but she was a volunteer in the shop so maybe she just hasnt been informed.
Anyone going? Anyone know if its still happening?

Just called the zoo again and the fundraiser that was supposed to be on has been postponed.... so no extended hours tonight:-(
Hope to see everyone soon though... and we have about 30,000 holiday photos that need critiquing.... hehe
