Zoo Entry Prices

Postby Doctor on Mon Sep 21, 2009 7:39 pm

I got sent this today from fellow photographer friend

"housemate went to the zoo today.... when the pandas come, it will be $75 per adult to get in"

Anyone got anymore insight on this? For those of us that have memberships, its not so bad, but for everyone else, thats ridiculous! What if you dont want to see the Panda's?

Nothing on the zoo website about it??

Its seriously worth getting a yearly pass, I know heaps of the Photogs have them..

Maybe they need to charge 75 bucks to cover the amount Fozzie goes in there ! :|

Rubbish ....
the Panda plan... viewing to Panda included in zoo enrty (which is not planned to change) , they are requesting because the opening is in school holidays that tickets be pre bought and a Panda viewing time booking be made - each timeslot is an hour - this is to manage the expected rush of people.
Members will have additional early viwewing entry at 0900 - they are still considering if members will need to book viewing times also .
Zoo prices are family (2A 3C) $68 , member $90 year with cheaper rates for extra family members

that's the facts Jack
