Sydney Night Shoot This Sunday

Postby barry on Tue May 17, 2005 1:22 pm

What time and where are people meeting for this event.

Will I get away without a flash unit. I don't have one.

Yup, you'll get away without an external flash, but you'll need a tripod. I'm sure you can borrow someone's flash (e.g. mine) if need be! 'X marks the spot' where we're meeting, at 6 pm.

Hi Barry, all the details are here, about half way down the page. Look for the map. http://www.d70users.com/viewtopic.php?t ... c&start=75

Don't worry about a flash, they don't make them bright enough to light up Sydney yet. Tripod and remote if you have it would be good, camera kit and torch. Look forward to seeing you there.

Yep, I'm there.

Although in the original thread with the map, I was struggling to find the X marking the spot. The X is infact a +. ;)

Will the D2x be making an appearance?

Will Birdy be making an appearance?

Will either of them, separate or together, be making an appearance?

Sorry, No. After all day work at the Monastery, I don think I still have any energy left to carry on for the rest of the day.

I'm not sure if I'll make it as I'm working on Sat and Sun but I might be able to leave early ;)

If I do, I'd hazard a guess i'll take a train and maybe only tag along to the other venues IF I can hitch a ride with someone. I don't like taking the car into the city when it comes to parking.. it's a pain in the #$%^ and very expensive. Fortunately, I live in Chatswood, so a train is a better alternative anyway :)

The camera of choice in the labour ward was my olympus....I decided if it should "walk" I would be less distraught if I lost the oly rather than the D70.......

The battery unfortunately has gone flat, and I can't find the damn charger and my card reader does CF only, not the DX I have in the oly....so am hunting down charger so I can recharge the battery and download the images.......

Sheeshhhh, I know I put it somewhere bloody brilliant that I wouldn't forget it, I just now need to remember this unforgetable spot! *sigh*

Wish me luck!
