For those of you who aren't leaving Sydney this long weekend the Manly Internationl Jazz festival is on again.

I have a colleague who has a son playing in one of the smaller bands and they will be playing near the "Markets by the sea". I have been asked to take some pics for the band so I have got my fingers crossed that they will turn out ok.

Drop by if you get a chance as I am sure you will hear some great Jazz music and probably have some great photo op's as well. PS: Parking in the area will be a nightmare.

It always is.

A couple of pointers for y'all .... Peter Ind is a brilliant bassist and well worth catching. When he was here a couple of years back, (Tony Banard works with him and brought him out) he had recently sufferred a case of Bell's Palsy, but that didn't affect his playing at all. Suffice to say that I was mightily impressed.

Foreday Riders are playing on Sunday, and George Washingmachine has a couple of gigs lined up as well.
