John you must have steady hands to use this sort of shutter speeds! Personally I'd bump up the shutter and keep it at f8 or so... The 50 should be plenty sharp at that.

The last one looks a little HDR like...what have you done to it in post?

 LOL, that was more good luck than steady hands, surenj. The light was varying a lot. I had been aiming for around 1/60. Close, but no cigar .

I'm using viewnx at the moment for processing the raw files. Waiting for Lightroom to update. PP in viewnx included a some sharpening, a slight adjustment of brightness and contrast. Then in PS7 had play with the levels.

I havent tried any hdr stuff yet. I'm hoping to upgrade to CS5 in the forseeable future and will give it a go then.
