Here are a few more shots from my big 2 month trip. First stop was Seattle and then Katie drove us down to San Fran stopping along the way at a few places.

The first 2 images are beautiful classic B&Ws in the Magnum style. Bloody wonderful!

Especially like the first. BW suits a city scape.

I’ve only been through Seattle airport. Surrounds look nice from the air. I spent some time in Pascoe which was a fairly bland place but the region has some amazing spots including Mt St Helens, Mt Rainier etc. And it was very cold.

Craig,

Love these.

As Matt says, these first two are very atmospheric, and wonderful mono images.

Seattle is a great city; my younger son is now living there (Kirkland, actually) with his fiance and we'll be there in exactly a month to visit with them and celebrate his birthday.

There's a couple of great museums in this town too, supported by Paul Allen, one of the founders of Microsoft. One one visit, we enjoyed an exhibition about Jimi Hendrix in London in 1967, as well as another on the history of the leather jacket. Awesome stuff at the Pop Culture Museum, right next to the Space Needle, and we'll be enjoying their Star Trek exhibition on this upcoming visit.

We had a great time at the pop culture museum Gary, it was worth the half a day or so we spent at it. The sci-fi stuff was very cool as was the music, and we were there for the Jim Henderson special exhibition too!

I remember my first visit, and going into the Sky Church there.

The Who!

Isle Of Wight!

Big and loud!

To add a splash of colour and comedy this was a sign I noticed on the pier by the Seattle waterfront. Gave me a chuckle.
