Picture of the Week - 4 September

Picture of the Week - 4 September

Postby Greg B on Tue Sep 04, 2007 6:19 am

Sue (Bindii) asked the rhetorical question, "Are ya sick of looking at pretty girl images yet?"

No Sue, I am not. Especially not when they are done this well.

My favourite from the three posted in Sue's thread is this week's PotW, and it is a very
nice study of a great subject. Everything works here - the look, eye contact,
exposure and sharpness, and I particularly like the PP. The blue tone is great, the
glow is perfect for the subject, the whole thing makes for a fine shot.

Well done Sue.

congrats, I really like this one too. This was the standout in the set, I really liked the way you softened the shirt, from harsh red/orange this pastel.

brilliant portrait, bet she must be happy with these!!! :D

Good choice for this week, and congratulations to Sue. I especially like the tonings on this shot and it was my favourite from the group of shots posted - and there was nothing wrong with the others either. Well done

Beautiful work Sue. Amanda's got a big future and you've certainly helped her along with work like this for her portfolio.

Congrats on the PotW and thanks Greg for a fine choice.

Oh thank you everyone for your kind comments.. I think my ego is sufficiently bloated enough now.... surely it must be someone elses turn for a pic of the week?

Btw... Amanda the model deserves at least half the credit as without her co operation I couldnt have gotten that shot...

and I'd like to thank my mom...
