1969

Postby sirhc55 on Wed Apr 06, 2005 9:27 pm

This photograph was shot in 1969 with a Nikon Ftn - can’t remember the lens but it was a Nikon. This lady was sitting on the rocks drawing - a rock. What struck me about her was the colour of her hair so I have just accentuated her hair in this post. Shot on Kodak Ektachrome and scanned in with a Minolta DualScan VI.

Comments always welcome.

This picture scares me!!

The scan quality also seems high. I love it when people scan their older slides/pics.

Great pic but I wont be viewing again.

Nice picture Chris, just as well you can remember what she was doing as the photo doesn't show this. Gather it is a candid so yes the basket is like she is having a picnic, uhmm picnic at hangin rocks hated that movie but yeh that hair is strange colour i guess in them days and well if it showed what she was doing i think i would like the pic more.
Cheers

Who is she, What is she doing, Why is she doing it.......who knows....

I always thought that it mightn't have been too bad if they'd finished the bloody thing off!!

Ooh, yeah I agree. There is something a bit disturbing to me about this picture. I think it is all the seaweed kind of matches her hair and the red colour makes her look a bit like a witch. :?

I'm looking at this photo and waiting for her head to turn around and speak in backward latin. It's spooky.

She was young and quite good looking - I had a chat with her after taking this photo - unfortunately in those days I was too embarassed to ask her for a face shot - now I know different
