Hi every one,

Floriade 2006.

Gentle giants have emerged and the crowds are fond of them.
These gentle giants scare the living daylights out of the kids who scatter into all directions screaming when the giants suddenly swing around or start to run towards the children.

Here they are:

Christian

Of these the 3rd of the figures has the most appeal and the first two of the second group.

I think your cropping has let you down on the parsley shot since it's so tight the sense of scale has been lost (it could just be a pic of a bunch of parsley - when it was an entire bed).

I love the Mexian hat, have a sleep - great shot! I also like how the parsley seems to be a thick rainforest canopy.

Ay amigos!

I would crop the flower. It's amazing what you can do with a bunch of parsley. My favourite shot is the Mexican one because it has vibrant colours and it is sharp. Arriba, arriba, ándele... ándele!

Wow Christian

Som more great images. The second shot in the second flower post is superb with the light catching the river of blooms surrounded by the tulips. The second parsely shot works better for me too.

Hi Stubbsy,

I'm going to have that photo printed :D
I'm glad that I spotted the "... with the light catching the river of blooms surrounded by the tulips"

Here is the image of a lotus sculpture.
The artist does some lovely work - she creates indoor and otdoor fountains.
