up coming Floriade

Postby christiand on Fri Sep 10, 2004 10:23 pm

Floriade is just around the corner I think.
Floriade is a great place to take photos of myriads of spring flowers.
Colour carpets and some close ups of tulips etc.
I'll definetly go and have a shoot.

Cheers

I've been there last year and year before. Many opportunities for photogs. Macro, people, candid, sceneries, a day trip from Sydney will do, if anyone can afford then overnight.
Bowral is also has some nice places too. Kangaroo Valley is next to it.
I posted this event in the event section last week

Yes... I have just moved onto the ANU campus (used to live in Belconnen...) and being so close will be great!

At the moment I shoot with a Nikon Coolpix 5400 but am very likely to purchase a D70 in the near future (Still deciding exactly where to buy it and what kit to buy!)

Its still free this year isnt it?

Buy a kit lens (D70+ 18-70) with a CF 512Mb 45x for $1995.00.
That's the way to start

Hi Mhd

Considering you have had the camera less than 24 hours, you've taken some great shots!

Well done

Cheers

Clearly you're unimpressed. How can we change your mind? :)
