Sample D40 Photos

Postby radar on Tue Dec 05, 2006 9:42 am

The D40 looks to be a nice little walk about camera. It would be good for someone that would like something more then a P&S but not something as big as D80 or D200, like my wife

I found this link to some sample D40 photos. It is in Japanese, but the photos are there with details and if you look at the full photo, you can see the exif data.

For a camera at that price, they look pretty good. I hope we'll be able to get a body only, without a kit lens. My 18-70 would go on nicely on that for my wife.

Im planning to go have a short play and test drive on the D40 sometimes this week. It looks pretty interesting for being such a tiny DSLR I've seen...

I have access to one for the next few weeks, would you like me to take some samples? through which lens? only think it works through DX lenses, I have the 18-55 kit, and 18-200.

agree, its a nice small package, very light weight (particularly compared to a D70s and D200).

I will take some pics of all three side by side.
