Best buy Software

Postby Mj on Sun Aug 22, 2004 2:24 pm

Not aware of any bargains to be had so I'll post this topic here.
I've been looking for the best darkroom options at a reasonable price and wondering what everyone else is using. The bundled software isn't useful and some of the available options seem pretty expense.
My current thoughts lead me toward using Capture and Curve Surgery with the occasional use of a copy of photshop 7 that I have.
Anyone have any better recommendation? Anyone know of a good bargain for Capture 4.1?

cheers.

For a digital darkroom, that's about as good as you can get.

But there's still something about a wet bench that leaves Photoshop et al, er, in the dark. :)

It's only software; there is no reason whatsoever for the price to be that high in Oz.

What US$ Webprices are you seeing? You could downbload the software from Nikon Asia (if their website is running) and arrange for the purchase from the USA. The software should arrive well before the evaluation period expires ...

Jon, Birddog: what prices can you do this for?
