Yes it is the same recall - same batch of batteries. I don't understand why it took Canada until July 11 to announce it when Nikon life (and we - thanks Rodney :up: ) knew about it on April 24

Are there any reports of batteries actually blowing up, or is this a precautionary recall?

My batteries don't appear to be affected (going by their serial numbers), but I'd hate for my Nikon to turn into a cannon… :rotfl2:
