Doubles the CF card capacity??

Postby marcus on Tue May 17, 2005 11:32 pm

OK, Iv'e just uploaded the stuff. It is late & I have had no chance to play around with it much. Love the new lcd, much better than that pink & grey thing we used to deal with. Yeah new beep (slightly), but whats with everyone saying the CF card has double capacity? Does it show up on your display? This may be a stupid/ignorant question but my capacity is the same as before??

The new firmware doesnt double your CF card. It is really a revision of the calculations which determines how many shots remain when shooting NEFs. Under JPEG mode, the calculations have not changed.

Get a good RAW program :D .

I find Nikon Capture too slow and expensive. I currently use bibble because it's cheaper and gives similar results.
