Strassenbahn - auch toll.
Tram - also great !

Weinachtsmarkt mit Schwenkgrill - noch besser !

Ah...your from Frankfurt then! My grandfather was German...but sadly he passed away when I was a teenager...so no more German Connections for me I am afraid...I was lucky enough to be able visit Frankfurt while on holiday just before xmas though....beautiful place...and i had a ball taking photo's there.....sooo many potentially brilliant shots to be taken....sooo little time..:(

And thank you everyone for the critque...I wasn't too sure on the selective colour for the car at first...I seem to be'going off' selective colour of late but I thought I would give it a go on this shot...I'm glad that it seems to have worked ok then...

Hi Bindii,

I was born in Frankfurt but moved away very soon.
Have you been to the Roemer, the Zoo, the Palmengarten and other places ?
Did you get a Bembel ? (ceramic jug - good for apple wein (cider))
Are there more photos to come ?
Hopefully I'll be going over there end of June including July.

Cheers,
CD

p.s.: say hello to your Opa, who passed away.

Sadly I only hd time to visit Frankfurt while I was in Germany....I was over there for business..(photography)...Germany was only a small part of the itinerary as I also saw most of England and Paris...and while I had time for sightseeing etc I wasn't able to go and see everything (or photograph)that I wanted to...I did get to sample the apple wein though...a little sweet but very nice....

Y9ou must be so looking forward to your trip!...and I'm looking forward to seeing your shots from there also...I presume that you are making the trip to visit family?

I'll post a couple more here for ya though...the last one is me sampling the local produce..;)

Great shots! I love the first one cause I drove in that exact same spot! Isnt it a nightmare around that area? I was there in football season, August last year - crazy!

First one is a very nice photo and very cleverly picked... The color treatment (which is oft over done) works well for this photo as a contrast between old and new...

Your firing on all fours at the moment Bindi! Love your work!

A most interesting concept, and not to be confused with "firing on all four". :)
