Abandoned factories/warehouses around MelbG'day folks,
Just wondering if anyone here knows of any locations of any abandoned factories or warehouses around melbourne. I want to find some suitable locations to photograph, just getting a bit bored with sports photography. Plus gives me a good reason to go buy a new lens. thanks edit spelling
under the Bolte Bridge, access from Docklands drive. There are old dock sheds, lots of industrial equipment lying around, big pillars of the bridge, port cranes in the background, and the sun sets on that side.
I am still planning a shoot there, enjoy.
there's one in sunshine off ballarat road. I've never been but have seen pics. It's not exactly an area that you'd want to go by yourself though.
Hassy, Leica, Nikon, iPhone
Come follow the rabbit hole...
do you have links to those pics ? I will check out Bolte bridge location later on the week. thanks for the help guys.

i think there are ppl living up in the roof. plus the buliding is fenced off now so your pretty much on your own with your new lenses. Life's pretty straight without drifting

There's the old brickworks in Box Hill, but you have to squeeze through a hole in a fence (which occasionally gets repaired) and accept that:
Let's call one!!! How about including some studio location kit, also SB800s, some reflectors etc. Take 2-3 models, and lets book in an afternoon sky / sunset time. Perhaps I'll post an EOI thread.

Re: Abandoned factories/warehouses around MelbYeah I found a few good locations on the urbex groups on flickr. I went and shot the Larundel Asylum a few months ago...most of the buildings are safe enough to enter but I could hear other people in some of the other ones and wasnt too keen on walking into that!
