Lostdingo,
Another stunning pics from you once again! It seems to me no working day with you today ![]() Birddog114

I like! The dark water looks great, light enough to still carry detail in the waves. Only thing I would do is clone that boat out (well I think it's a boat). It's not large enough to add to the shot, yet large enough to make it distracting.
Thanks Guys, appreciate the feedback
Birddog114- thanks Birddog, so when are we going to have a Northern Beaches "Sunrise" shoot ![]() Potatis-will be even easier to get up early after this weekend! ![]() bloop-thanks bloop, actually that is not a boat (if your are looking toward the center, alittle to the right) but part of the rock formation, I may try ti put the chisel to it ![]() E1Shane-no lighting at all except natural, I have used flash for some fill but this is such a lrge expanse don't know it would do any good unless I had multiple flash heads
great shot ......... but I would like to see it a lot darker to give a lot of mood and character and do not worry about detail as the strong bits will hold there own.......
Cheers ....bp....
Difference between a good street photographer and a great street photographer.... Removing objects that do not belong... happy for the comments, but .....Please DO NOT edit my image..... http://bigpix.smugmug.com Forever changing

How early is it? If it's around 4:00am then I'm in. ![]() Birddog114

I think 4:30am could be possible Birdy. I will liase with the other Northern Beaches members and we will start organising a date/time/location. Probably with the lead up to Christmas we might leave it until the new year. What are everyone's thoughts on leaving it until the new year?

Hey LostDingo,
thats a great image, where did you take the photo...?? There are lots of great places there with fantastic rock formations. I especially like the rocks on the Nth end of Dee Why. Like this..... Oh yeah and count me in for an early morning shoot...... ![]() What does that button do....??
Matt K.- thanks for the comments, inall honesty I was not overly enthused with this pic except for the balance the D2x was able to maintain
drifter-the sky was a challenge so I had to crouch low and tilt the camera up, not hard on the camera but there were lots of "popping and moaning" in my knees ![]() wendellt-if you were 10 years younger how "young" would you be ![]() big pix- agree, I think as there were no dramatic eye popping colors dramtic mood in the clouds would have been a bonus Geoff-just south of Palm Beach on the Ocean side. No shortage of areas to take photos in my opinion on the North shore. Just let me know when you guys are ready for an early morning shoot! Potatis-when we do an early morning shoot I think we will knock on your door first ![]() Birddog-time change now so 4:30 would be a good start since the time change, I'll watch the sky in the mornings and update ![]() Marty-Marty, not far from the Palm Beach end on the Pacific side. I haven't noticed the rock formations around Dee wHY AS MUCH BUT WILL LOOK ![]()
