I had the chance to follow the race fleet down the coast and had the chance to take some shots.

Sydney Hobart Yacht Race![]() I had the chance to follow the race fleet down the coast and had the chance to take some shots. Jeff
Nice colours Jeff, and I like the shot though if I had my way I would have included more of the yacht in the same perspective sailing toward the horizon (that you need to ensure is straight, by the way) with the rest of crew and the stern.
cheers marco
NIce one. I never miss the start of the Sydney Hobart even if it is only on TV. I agree with Marco's comment though, I would like to have seen much more of the yatch.

![]() I agree I should have got the horizon straight but it was difficult enough to hand on and shoot, but thanks for the input. One more of the whole boat close to shore in light wind, after a halyard problem and a man was put up the mast to fix. Jeff
More more more ! Nice shots Jeff . I usually never miss this race be it watching from the coast or at home on the box . Missed it this year as we had plans . Please stick some more up or a link to some .
Last year i went down to Rushcutters bay on xmas night and wandered around the dock , the size of those maxis is mindblowing . I'd love to be on one heading south .
