So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. In the garden
Was taking some shots in the garden yesterday and this one stood out. Comments and critique welcomed. The Blue Spruce:

I think the trick to this image is the beautiful soft pastel colours of the spruce and the background. I would like to have seen a bit more of the spruce to balance the image a bit, but it's the colours that stand out more than anything (including the high ISO artefacts)

I'm with Killa - would like to see less at the bottom of the frame, and more at the top - is that really the colour? cool

Why is it called a blue spruce?
Oh..I know, 'cos it's from the spruce family! I agree with Killa and Rel - love the colours and the sharpness but would really like to see more. Absolutely gorgeous plant. Simon
