LPGA (warning 13 pics)My club closed it's course this week to host an LPGA tournament. So instead of carrying my clubs to the course I carried my camera. Light conditions varied from poor to very poor so I used ISO's from 100 to 800 to get the shutter speed that I wanted. All shot with the 70-200mmVR.

Great golf action shots, clear and sharp... The color sat and contrast makes the images pop for me...
Timing on #2, wow! #3's well spotted, great capture of the moment deep in thought... #7's a great angle... Like someone else though, #11's the pick of 'em for me... yum... ![]() Aka Andrew

These are really great shots. So sharp and so clear. Great timings to get the swing etc. I particularly like 2 and 3. 2 for the position of the ball and 3 for the desperation.
Excellent Matt
Some great shots of something we don't often see photos of. I'll ask the question about shot 11, is there any course / tournament rules about the amount of exposed skin etc ? No offence meant but aren't golf courses a bit anal about dress codes ?
Anyways, some lovely shots, good stuff!
Craig on the womens professional tour they can get away with almost anything. In fact they encourage a bit of glamour in order to help sell the product. On the other hand, male professionals cannot even wear shorts! sexism in reverse?

Thanks for the explaination, makes a lot of sense in a twisted logic sort of way. I take it no one had an issue with the 70-200 out on the course ? None of the silliness at other sporting venues ?
Craig no one bothered me, and as I am a member there I was able to wander where I wanted to. Of course being a golfer I also knew when not to release the shutter
