food photographyWell I thought I'd post my first shot to see if it works. This was taken with my new 1.4.... It was my lunch at the nearby pub - only $5!

Hi, nice lunch, which pub? In terms of image showing up, get rid of the bit after .jpg . Would have liked to see the full plate, or is there a bite missing out of the sandwich ![]() The forum software with the img tag only takes links that finish with .jpg, for security reasons. Edit: got to be quick! three other geeks got in before me ![]() ![]() Photography, as a powerful medium of expression and communications, offers an infinite variety of perception, interpretation and execution. You obviously have shot food before. Great light and crop. The colours are fantastic, infact I am getting hungry again looking at this image...
![]() Good work.
Lovely shot jben - as has been said already, it looks quite professional. For me, however, the OOF area at this end of the sandwich is a little distracting and I would have preferred to have seen the whole meal nice and sharp. Apart from that...I can almost smell it!
Well done. Simon
