Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.
Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.
Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

This is part 3 from Loreal fashion week
An independant runway was set for young innovative deisgners, labels Material Boy and Roamance was born took the stage.
shot with the 70-200 vr off mostly at f2.8 1/250 ISO800 variable
the standard runway shots
Romance was born, material boy centre bottom
Material Boy
at the end of the show there was a more moody presentation with a rock band, this is when things got interesting
slower shutterspeed and zoom used to capture the feeling and mood of the scene
models came out with chairs and posed, this sort of dynamism in a presentation I like
the 70-200 is great for compositional purposes, tight crops at 200mm - sweet
Material Boy

Nice pics as per usual nothing I can fault personally.
I hope the music was good as I can see someone in the background toting a fender jazz bass.
Are we there yet?

Thankx Michael
the music was kind of a electroclash neuvo jazz fusion pretty cool, even though i tend to lean forward to the jazzfantastical
most of the music before the last presentation was electro house mixed in with some downtempo tunes. Actually the deep driving base was vibrating the pressbox and my monopod/camera in turn was vibrating as well, i thought the shots would have come out blurry but they didn't who knows probably the shutter speed

Awesome photos as usual Wendell. The rock pics are awesome - not really something you'd see in mags, so would be good if those got published
Really love the b&w treatment you've given the model chair pic.
