Shot with one strobe with softbox. Velvet black background. I had my uncle wear a black long sleeve shirt. I used my 85mm 1.8.

For some reason I also like this pic. It's of my nephew who is 6 months old. He's got a very cute round head.

All babies are amazing Neeps, the first one looks as though there is no arm attached to the hand! (No 'arm done). What an experience to photograph a newborn infant. BTW, I'm hoping to get over the border into Canada in June. We will be in Flint, Michigan for a wedding and I'm told it's not too far from the Canadian border, maybe 2-3 hours drive. I'm not sure which part of Canada is near Flint but we'll look into it.

Print that feet phot up big. Really big. I mean really, really big. Frame it, and give it to you uncle. He will be very proud. Do the same with the colour shot of uncle and bub. That is beautiful, and the family will love you even more for that. Where is mum, btw? You should do similar images with her. After all, I'm sure she had at least a small part in the making of this wonderful new life. g.

Great stuff Johnny.
I agree about the feet shot, like Gary say, get it big mate and frame it. I plan to do something like that when my best friends baby is born in a couple of weeks. Nice work Matt
