Hi Trieu, I'm sure you are going to enjoy that lens.
While I think this is an interesting shot, I checked out your gallery and I think that many of the shots there have more punch than this shot. Combination of colours, saturation and contrast. We really are going to have to get you into Photoshop. You'll not look back. Cheers John D3, D300, 14-24/2.8, 24-70/2.8, 85/1.4, 80-400VR, 18-200VR, 105/2.8 VR macro, Sigma 150/2.8 macro

I'd have to agree with John a lot of the other shots are stronger then this one, this one to me is just puzzling.
One of my favourites is below, where these all taken with your new 50mm, I think the composition in a few shots could of been stronger if you checked the edges of the frame, quiet a few cut parts of the subject off. At a guess this is because you used to zooming to compose and frame and with the 50 you have to do with yourself (with your feet). ![]()
Thanks for the feedback
![]() Yeah your right about the feet.. I had to move around alot more to get the subjects right. I have to admit, there are some better shots then the one I posted.. ![]() Cheers,

Trieu,
As I said to you on the day, the 50mm is very restricted at some distance and the way of shooting, that lens is very nice but only can be used for some purposes, not a walk around lens and flexibility. Birddog114

Given the difficulties of zooming with your feet you've done very well with these. Of ones you didn't post here, I was quite taken with the two below for their creative composition and your good eye for an interesting shot: ![]() ![]() Peter
