Fire station seriesG'day all I've had this idea in my noggin for a very long time and just last sunday I was able to put pen to paper so to speak and went up to kitchener street fire station in toowoomba and conducted the shoot, I'm a familiar face amoung the guys up there so cooperation wasn't any trouble. the guys were more then happy to have a bit of fun on a sunday morning.

Great story told through photo's. Very well done.
And this is where I met the leprechaun - He told me to burn things
Hi Michael,
As said offline... great choice of shutter speed in the second frame... I'm a big fan of this shot.. nicely done. cheers http://www.markcrossphotography.com - A camera, glass, and some light.

Great story telling in these 3 shots. #2 shows superb use of shutter speed. Tripod mounted? The last shot is a little too formal for me. I'd have liked to see something dropped in haste or the shoes more scattered, but that's only a minor issue Peter

A complementary set of images Michael. Great story line. Perhaps as a small suggestion having the back end of the firetruck disappearing in a blur round the corner in the third shot may have added a little extra:)
cheers marco
Stubby yes all three shots were trpod mounted.
I would have like to get the truck disappearing around the corner but I couldn't get a decent shot in time. and the boots were left how the guys took them off to put thier pants on for authenticity ![]() Are we there yet?
