Yup it is a duck. Nice capture BBJ, bet it was moving a little slower than the things you normally shoot.

Great Shots. I luv the way you have head and body in focus and the wings blurred to show movement. Bit unfortunate with the background coloring similar to duck. but as I said they are great shots

Mate we need to cut down some trees there so we get more light, and get rid of the kids and a couple of bigger people laughing at me and with big grins from ear to ear and we might give it another go next time. D3,D2x,D70,18-70 kit lens,Sigma 70-200mm F2.8EX HSM,Nikon AF-I 300m F2.8, TC20E 2X

Mate i am not sure about that, ok maybe not as fast at times but bloody smaller. I was at the lakes so if i had taken it any later would have been over water. Can be lucky sometimes but one things is for sure there are plenty of ducks up at the lakes here. D3,D2x,D70,18-70 kit lens,Sigma 70-200mm F2.8EX HSM,Nikon AF-I 300m F2.8, TC20E 2X
