Next door went out for the afternoon, so I borrowed their 1 year old Jack Russell for a photo shoot

She was very well behaved, and was payed 'loads of smackos' for her time and effort

Re: A Portrait
I don't believe it for a minute! ![]() ![]() Hyperactive and destructive come to mind... wanna swap? I've got a 10 yr old Jack (currently lives with my parents). I thought he'd slow down as he got older, but he just snores more ![]() Great capture. The images you've been producing lately are excellent.

How good is that! You know you can always borrow (and keep) Toby if you want a Jack to model for you!

![]() Simon - underneath all of that bluster, I think you really love Toby ![]() As for keeping her still - running around like an idiot before the shot, and promising her a treat if she was good for me ![]() ![]() White background (sheet on chair), old trusty Tamron at f4.2, 1/500 and flash upped by 1.3 with beercup and cap ![]() Nicer before upload - seems to have lost some of its colour, but you get the idea ![]() Dodging and burning are steps to take care of mistakes God made in establishing tonal relationships! -Ansel Adams
