TV Turns 50 CelebsMy gallery is now online that has all the photo's I took at the Red Carpet event at the Star City Casino on Sunday night. I'm pretty happy with some of the photo's. Some were a bit blurry due to the split second snapping of shots whereby it didn't focus properly, but overall, I think it turned out pretty good.
Next month I hope to get to the red carpet of the ARIA Awards in Homebush. Anyway, let me know what you think. http://www.gleff.com/photogallery/ http://www.gleff.com

Do you think any would be sellable? I don't intend on selling any but just curious if they are good enough quality for selling.

Geoff I tried to responsed on your site but I needed a blogger logon.
A good collection of shots, it shows you were very close to the action. With a few the noise is a bit of a issue but mostly it was ok. The stairs seem like a difficult place to shoot the stars as they are concentrating on their high heels and not following arse over tit. Some of the other shots show you had a better location for atleast some of the night. Overal its a good start and I'm sure now you have your feet wet your keen for more. Good luck with it, keen to see more from your next outing. (You did a good job on the Home and Away stars, Katie was most impressed.
That's normal. If you have a blogger login you can use it, otherwise, you can use a nickname, or use anonymous. Either way, I got it and published the comments. Thanks http://www.gleff.com

nice on geoff
for your first time you got lots of eye contact congratulations on getting up close and personal from my experience red carpet in Australia really sux, it's too fast format is visually unflattering for a number of reasons etc so really hard to get a beautiful shot
Some great shots in there Geoff - well done.

Special Moments Photography Nikon D700, 50mm 1.4, 85mm 1.4, 70-200 2.8VR, SB800 & some simple studio stuff.
Geoff,
Some good shots there, you appear to have had a good position. What lens did you use? It may be just my monitor but some appear really quite soft and focused to the right or left of the subject. Lots of variety in there, I'm sure it's a difficult event to shoot. Well done...! Tony All I know, is that I don't know enough.....
I used the 24-120 VR. Everything happened so fast that I didn't have time to compose, focus, and shoot. I'm amazed as many came out as they did because the majority of shots were split second shots. On a side note, I just realised I spelt copyright as copywrite wrong on all my watermarks.. dammit.. I feel really stupid now. Did anyone else notice that. Just wondering if it's worth fixing all 75 photo's ![]() http://www.gleff.com

I didn't notice it Geoff, I saw the water mark and your name, but my subconcious told me the rest said Copyright so why bother reading it.
maybe i'll leave them then. http://www.gleff.com
