Had a chance to take it out on sat, but didn't see much that inspired me. There were a few hangliders around though.

Lens handles well and feels solid. Will have to put it through its paces.

You'll love that lens, I seen a whole new world when I first looked through the viewfinder and for the cost I really can't fault it.
I took a photo of Cape Nelson Lighthouse standing about 10 meters away from it just to give an example of how wide it is.
Good buy - I got the tokina 12-24 and am really happy with it - nice photo BTW a tough exposure with the light as it was

Great lens! Another impulse buy I don't regret! I wasn't really after a wide lens, but after using it, it really did open a new perspective - perhaps a case of letting the camera decide what I see at first, then after a while use it to my advantage. I love it!
