We had a fabulous view of this one in Brisbane too.
Indeed after a disappointing visit to the city hunting pictures, I watched this wonderful moon rise - powerless to stop in traffic on the way home. I had visions of this lovely golden orb, with Palms in an out of focus forground, but alas somethings must simply be observed, and enjoyed, and pondered as memories. Bugger. D300, D200, (D70 - now with daughter) and heaps of Nikon stuff.

Can see the details in the moon, amazing ![]() Did you use a tripod? or make use of the VR? I also tried some handheld shots of the moon on Friday night, but not as amazing as yours ![]() ---

I was using the tripod and actualy forgot to turn VR off ![]() I'll give it another go tonight - tripod without VR and or handheld with VR. Regards, CD
