As a few of you know, I took photos for a wedding a few weeks ago. Finally got a round to PP'ing a few of the photos and would love to know what you think. The photo of the Jag shows just what the day was like - between 9am and 7pm we managed a total of about 10 minutes outside. The portrait oriented photos were taken from the balcony of the B&G's honeymoon suite. It was getting dark and the wind was freezing, so we had to do the photos in short bursts, othwerwise the bride would have been the thing that was blue  Comments and critique most welcome.

These are very well done, even without considering the limited opportunities you had to deal with.

You managed to capture two nice natural smiles on the last one, focus and DOF are spot on. Well done!

Andrew I've had a few looks at these before commenting since there was something about the last image that bugged me. I think it's a very fine image, but have decide it's the flower that is the problem for me as it seems out of scale (probably closer to the camera). Just an itsy bitsy little problem though.

Thanks for the constructive critique Peter and Vincent. The flowers were hard against the brides body to minimise this, but the flowers were bloody huge. That's not an optical illusion - each one of those suckers was almost as big as the bride's head. Do you think the photo would have been stronger without them in the frame at all? Also, do you think the sails from the Opera House are too out of focus?

Thanks to everyone else for your kind comments.

I thought the flowers where huge of there own accord, regarding the OH sails, I didn't even realise thats what hey were, for me they images are still strong I like the nice bokeh you've achieved.

Had you wanted the sails to play a bigger part in the composition I'd have used a great DOF had got a bit more detail in there.

Hi Andrew, maybe remove the flowers , I think it would have looked better

I didn't even notice it was the opera house in the background
