Very nice, the background is blurred nicely and the detail and different colours on the wings is great.

I also think it is a very good shot.
There is just so much to see and learn on this forum. Being pretty new on this site, I have seen some great macro shots (and plenty of others too ![]() How far away from the bee (?) were you when you took this photo? General Question ... Do the extension tubes go between the camera body and the lense? Is there anything special to note or remember when using them? Anyway, keep up the good work. Russell

It's really only the second time i have used the rings (and maybe only the 5th time with a camera in my hands) so I can't give you much info on them sorry rflower. But I am sure there are many people on here who are expert at it! I was probably about 10" from him when i took this, he was very co-operative and hung around for 10 minutes while i snapped away.
