Dude they are some of the best 18-200 shots I've seen, that lens is no slouch, I'm really impressed by the shots (please post more, or do you have a gallery?).
Mark, instead of making 2 post in both threads i will say it here and these are bloody great pics mate, ok not the most focussed shots in parts but doesn't matter considering where they were all taken from, and yeh what can i say well done all good and is different veiw from normal pics.

Really nice shots . Something different from the norm . Really nice colour in that last one . Looks like it was a bit overcast up there .
This shot from your gallery is hilarious http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/sliderr/Indy%202006/Sunday/2006-10-22_13-18-44DSC_8798.jpg Tony

Thanks for the comments folks. D
Was a great weekend and I was fortunate to be in a good spot and get a few decent shots. It is almost impossible for a member of the public to get a ground level shot of teh front or side of teh cars. I found a few spots last year where you can get a shot down an access road for the emergency services but that only gets the rear end of the cars as they disappear into the distance. ![]() Cheers
