So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Excellent! They love dark, still, soft, acidic water with lots of plants - I wonder how you got this bright clean shot? What did you do for lighting?

Cheers
Steffen.

Excellent! What a great shot this would have been for the Fred Hollows Exhibition!

Steve

Thats a great image. Aquarium fish are incredibly difficult to shoot because of the technical challenges (like the fact you're shooting through water and dealing with all the refractive difficulties that entails) not to mention the little buggers rarely cooperate and stay still for you.

This is wonderfully lit and the composition is spot on. Superb.

Great shot and lovely colours, as Peter said not a easy subject to shoot either.

Thanks for this good feedback guys

For those interested the shot was taken using the Sigma 105mm macro lens on the D70.

Lighting was an SB800 in remote mode positioned above the tank and triggered using the on board flash in commander mode.

Cheers
