First few shots from my Canon 5D

I really love this lense and body. The Canon 5D with 24-70 F2.8L. Over the weekend I also added the 580EX as my bday present so thats another challenge to learn

The last photo I didnt have my 580EX at that stage, so I couldnt use fill flash to fill in the parasailer...

Here are some shots:

Looks like your going to get a lot of enjoyment out of your new kit, it seems like a fine imaging machine.. I particularly like the colourful chute in the last shot. Look forward to more shots as you start to realise the camera's full potential. Happy Birthday too :P

Lovely shots Kris - colourful, sharp and testimony to Canon’s investment in FF. The last shot is great but I would clone out the top right hand corner

Great shots, Kris.
Never see photos of 5D.
Now see the power of full frame.

happy bday and enjoy the goodies! :D

it was once use dSLR and never want to use a P+S again, now for you its a case of once you use a FF dSLR, you wont want to use a cropped dSLR again :P
