Hey Vort, it's been a while. I like both shots was any flash used or was this all natural lighting ? Out of the two my favourite is probably the first but only by a little.

You did well I couldn't detect flash but I was suprised at how well exposed and well lit your subject was for both shots, but the gold reflector explains it.. well done.. (were you holding it and taking the shot?)

well exposed, sharp, and interesting colours- the colour of the water in each image seems to go well with the poses/compositions/whatever. eg. the first pic looks like she's walking away from the beach, hinting a late afternoon time and sun going down. sorry if this doesnt make much sense (must hit the hay soon) -julz
