Fine-art,old style shot ...a Rose over Book,a shot from recent fine-art stuff done at home,anyway not realy a pro,,a simple bounced flash from ceiling and walls,,plz give some critics,if it looks profesional or just so so,,

You know...its not too bad...but I think to get the 'pro' look you want you would have to use a real rose...and make sure the background is all the same..as in the material under the book should cover the entire background...and perhaps a little more pp work to give it that 'sureal' feel...
Ah re-reading this and it looks like I don't really like the shot...but I do like it... ![]()
agree, very nice, perhaps soften the light a tad.
Also, the box/prop under the book at the bottom of the image is bouncing a little too much light... maybe just slide the book down a tad to cover it, while spreading the chifon to cover the full background. I like your choice of page, for white and solid pics. Perhaps, when using the fresh rose, a page with an area of white to lay the rose head on, for bounce?
