Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.
Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.
Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

During my first ever visit to Melbourne, being a huge cricket fan i am, i had to check out the MCG. I went on the tour and also checked out the Twenty20 game between Victoria and Queensland. What a great stadium! I am thinking about getting the panoramic shot printed. I love the dramatic sky.

Nah I used a Canon 17-55 2.8 IS at 17mm. I bought it to take away to Melbourne. Its an awesome lens. Worth every cent. The pano is 8 shots all up. 2 rows of 4 shots. The other shot was taken with a Canon 70-200 2.8 and a Canon 1.4x converter.

Glad you enjoyed your visit to Australia's 5th best cricket ground (behind SCG, Gabba, Adelaide and WACA)...
Great photo by the way.

Thanks! I used Autostitch. I stiched the top row and bottom row of photos separately. Then i merged the separate rows together. Its an excellent program. I tried and tried with the Canon PhotoSitch but it would never get it right. Even with me choosing reference points. Autostitch did it all for me automatically. Brilliant stuff
