We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.
Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.
Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

Camilla and Marc show launched fashion week it was off site at the Sydney Theatre Company early in the morning and backstage was beautiful format industrialised pier backdrop low sun white light overlooking sydney harbour
available light with direct softbox fill, its not my usual style but i managed to cut most shadows for a-typical beauty shot.
Here is Sophie Ward wearing the collections signature outfit i shot this behind a glass pane to get that layered futurist look
available light and softbox fill sb800 set on lowest intensity, morning light moves dramatically fast, 85mm
everyones happy at the start of fashion week fresh and bubbly but as the week goes on everyone gets seriously over it
I shot this with the 85mm exposed for the models backlit by window light, intentionally blown backgound for that ethereal feel

love the way you have taken the first one.
Also love the last one, very nice.
The one through the glass doesn't do much for me, sorry. I know what you were trying to do but I find the glass just takes a bit too much away from the models and the fashion.

I'm going to say first Wendell you know how much I enjoy your work, but for me most of this are up to your usual standards and I credit that to you experiementing and trying things out of your comfort zone. So I'm going to honest with me feedback here.
#1 Compostion wise I don't mind it, it achieves a cool affect by making her head look so much larger in proportion then the background. I also like how you have light her face and as you've said cut the shadows.. my big issue with this shot is the her right eye (the left one as we see it) I assume you've brought the exposure up as it was in deeper shadow ? as there it seems to be excessively noisey compared to the rest of her complexion. So a smaller extent her neck on her right side too but that doesn't bother me nearly as much as her eye. Given you skills, especially in Post Processing I'm suprised, but perhaps I'm just being overly critical.
#2 Love / Hate relationship with this one, I like the idea, but I don't think it really came off, I'd have much prefer to see the same shot without the window, but I encourage the experiementation just personally don't think it worked (mainly due to the lines in the reflection
#3 Nice lighting, DOF but I'm not keen on loosing her hands out of frame I find it distracting
#4 Again we loose bits out of frame, but the girls expression and big doll eyes helps make this shot, I'd consider a very different crop to bring more attention to her and less to the busyiness around her but lighting wise I like it. You definitely go the ethereal look in my opinion.
