We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. love the lighting in the first composition. i think the light is too harsh and wide in the second photo and i would have angled the light further down the face rather than highlight the forehead. the blue thing is also a little distracting imo. beautiful colour in the whole image though. the texture in the old lady's face is beautiful and she has a great warm smile. very nicely done. not sure about the sunnies though, maybe would have been nice to see her eyes clealry.
