they looked similar to me but I just boosted the exposure on the B&W to check and they are in different wetsuits and there was no way anyone would be changing wetsuits out in that weather
I keep going down to the beach but there are no waves in Coffs at the moment.

I like the first photo. It looks like one guy is contemplating a surf and the other has already made up his mind. Also like the colors in the second one
