NZ Navy and a dog

Hi,

just a few photos from yesterday. Sydney gets the KittyHawk, we get the Te Mana from the NZ Navy. First one is a silhouette b&w conversion from the back of the ship.

Image

Background was pretty busy so I chose the end of the ship, does it work?

And for something totally different from the above, here is Bebe on the beach at the end of the day. I guess there are ships in the background ;)

Image

C&C welcomed,

André

André

The ship pic is a bit flat somehow - not enough of interest. The shot of Bebe however is great. Lighting is spot on as is composition. Who cares about ships - Newcastle has had it's fill for a while.

Thanks Peter and Col,

it is actually hard to get a good picture of Bebe, she's always looking the wrong way but it all came together on Saturday.

I'll have to see if I can get anything of my NZ Navy shots, agree with your comment Peter, maybe the Pasha in the background?? ;)

Cheers,

André

I like the ship. Works for me. I love its simplicity. And dogs! :D

I think Bebe wants you to throw her a ball - either that or play with the kids in the distance.

I think dogs (and cats) are good for practicing on and the photographs are pleasant reminders.
