Yosemite VisitA few shots from my recent visit to Yosemite National Park in California.
An amazing place. I highly recommend a visit if you are ever on the West coast of the USA. 1. <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/stuartfrench/419804319/" title="Photo Sharing"><img src="http://farm1.static.flickr.com/163/419804319_6a7f8306b0.jpg" width="500" height="293" alt="Yosemite Forest Stroll 2007" /></a> 2. <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/stuartfrench/418489545/" title="Photo Sharing"><img src="http://farm1.static.flickr.com/133/418489545_dc7229fb79.jpg" width="500" height="180" alt="Yosemite Sunset 09" /></a> 3. <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/stuartfrench/418500872/" title="Photo Sharing"><img src="http://farm1.static.flickr.com/124/418500872_8976e2bd9c.jpg" width="500" height="330" alt="Yosemite River Frost 10" /></a> 4. <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/stuartfrench/418550052/" title="Photo Sharing"><img src="http://farm1.static.flickr.com/128/418550052_c8ec296774.jpg" width="500" height="332" alt="Yosemite Dam12" /></a> 5. <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/stuartfrench/420480153/" title="Photo Sharing"><img src="http://farm1.static.flickr.com/127/420480153_27e4ba180b.jpg" width="500" height="262" alt="Yosemite Sunset 22" /></a> 6. <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/stuartfrench/417132295/" title="Photo Sharing"><img src="http://farm1.static.flickr.com/146/417132295_4a20d42c2e.jpg" width="500" height="285" alt="Yosemite El Capitain 06" /></a> Last edited by kurokaze204 on Tue Jul 24, 2007 10:56 pm, edited 1 time in total.

Thanks guys, I tried to manually correct for lens distortion in the last one and got that as a result. Normally I would then crop the image out, but my son really liked it that way so I left it.
Sorry about too many images. Gates' Law: Every 18 months, the speed of software halves.

I've had a look through your flickr gallery as well. I noticed one of your comments on an image of half dome about how difficult it is to represent the sheer scale of Yosemite - agree!
It's a magic place, and the only way to really get a sense of the scale is by standing in the valley floor itself! Your images have inspired me to finally get back to finishing processing my shots (shamefully still unprocessed since June 05...)
Yosemite is a truly amazing place. We used to live about 90 miles from it, when we lived in California.
For those planning a trip, April is the best time of year, when the snow is melting, and the waterfalls are just ..... awesome. Great images. g.
