Taken with Nikon D40 only been a dslr user for a month.
Think they are ok.

Newbie Black and WhitesShot a few pics on the weekend at Takone and wasnt too happy with them so i converted to b&w to see how i went.

Good shots, my picks are one and two, though they could both do with a bit more contrast- just like the water in 3. I find 3 and 4 a little busy. A ND filter is a neutral density filter which is basically just a dark grey filter which reduces the amount of light and therefore allows longer shutter speed- commonly used to blur moving water, they bring down shutter speed while maintaining the same aperture. They come in differing strengths. Robert Robert
