Re: HelicopterMatt, I think you are right. They seem to be models piloted with a remote. Interesting though.

Re: Helicopter
I went to a display day and then a tryout day at Greensborough Model Aircraft Club (GMAC) and one of my questions was how they flew the helicopters upside down. It had to be either reverse the rotation of the main rotor (highly unlikely) or change the pitch of the blades (bingo!) The people who fly these are absolutely amazing - hovering upside down inches from the ground, flipping and turning etc. It is quite something to see. Main identity, your shots look relatively routine, but anyone who has tried to photograph model planes and helipcopters will know how extremely difficult it is. You have done remarkably well with these, the second group in particular. If anyone is wondering about all the smoke, the mixture used for the helicopters has extra oil in it to keep everything working when they are flipping around, and the result is some burning oil and smoke. If anyone is interested, check out RC Helicopters on YouTube. Oh yeah - main Id, you have too many shots in your post, the limit is four, don't do it again. ![]() Greg - - - - D200 etc
