So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. A Bridge to Nowhere
I found myself in the Nth Sydney area at lunchtime today with 30 minutes to kill so off I went to Milsons Point. I'm happy with the composition as I think I got the bridge at an little photographed angle. I like the way it just seems to go to nowhere. I could have cloned out the buildings in the bottom left corner, but that would have been too fake.
I'm a bit bummed that the angle of the sun made the whole thing a bit flat (and that was with a cpl fitted). I tried to magic wand the sky a bit bluer, but with so much wispy cloud it looked terrible. I'm a real PP novice, so any tips on how to give it a bit more "oomph" would be really appreciated

Funny you should mention that Birdy. About 5 minutes later when I'd gone over to the Luna Park side of the bridge, one of those security guys with the yellow vests that anyone who has gone over,under or near the bridge must of seen, walked by my and all he had to say was "nice camera" 
I was very careful not to point the lens in the direction of Nth Sydney Olympic pool.

Just as an addendum. Ya just gotta love digital
 I took 67 photos in 20 minutes, including all the regular tourist/postcard angles, but even though many of the others are prettier, they were just boring,boring, seen it all before...........
Not a problem, just chuck the other 66 away, they cost me nothing. If I'd taken 67 photos with Velvia and only found one that took my fancy..... well you see my point, digital pays for itself
