Hi,

First try was absolutely unsuccessful. Unfortunately, absense of comments is not allowing to conclude what was wrong with those photos. Now, there is slightly different PP and different images except the first one which was re-worked.

1 crop just above the mayne and clone out the wires a little lighter would be good
2 as is
3 crop to a head shot ..... close around the ear's and below the chin
4 & 5 are not as good as the other 3

Sorrry to be so blunt but you did ask..........all in all good capture.....

OK - these aren't bad - and the Lioness on the grass is just right :)

but...

I find there is too much shade on most of them. Difficult conditions, that's for sure. Have you tried a highlights filter? I can't remember exactly what it's called in Capture (if you're using that), but it's something like Digital something something!

The final one, drinking, also appears to be slightly off-focus. Ideally, the eyes should be the prime focal point - looks like this may be more about the shoulders.

Hope this helps :)

I think the images are fine but the lighting conditions are very harsh. Not much you can do about that but go back at another time.

I'm gonna be very honest and share my opinion.

1st one, the fence lines are distracting. Also feel that the face needs less shadow. But strong proud pose of the lion is evident.

2nd one does grab me.

3rd one, looks great but a horizontal shot with part of the ears and most of the nose would be cool. Then you are only focused on the eyes which are the main feature of the shot.

4 and 5 shots, dont attract me.

Thanks for your honest comments, guys! I really appreciate them and now I know what I should try to do with the images. I won't be able to work on them tonight but I'l find some time frame during weekend

Thanks again, everyone! :)

Hi,

Here are improved (?) images :)
1. Here I cloned wires out as suggested and cropped tighter. Also pulled out shadows a bit
Image

2. Just cropped to the head shot
Image

I didn't crop both of them too heavy as suggested becaus I think it'd be too much. What do you think?

P.S. I left two last images (previously #4 and #5 before I added edited ones) in the first post for referenses
